we seem to have been caught on a speed camera on our holidays doing 36mph in a30mph area,we did not know about it until this week. Apparantly this happened 31st july and it has took them 4 months to inform us is there no time scale for this sort of incident as we are not disputing it happened just it seems funny its took so long to process .
Isn't the issue, NJ, that the Authority has to contact the registered keeper of the vehicle within 14 days. Then if that registered keeper does nothing, it's his lookout.
The previous question which you answered so eloquently related to what happens if the keeper ignores the NIP or maintains he doesn't know how was driving.
If this question is saying that the Authority has made the first approach now, then it is out of time??
