Roughly how much do wallpaperers charge?

I want to have my hall, landing and stairs done after Christmas and have never hired one before so no idea what to expect cost wise.

Should I say bah humbug toCristmas and save my pennies for the decorator or can I still have a few Baileys?!!

It all depends on what work is involved. Does it need; stripping, woodwork undercoating & glossing, ceilings emulsioning, cross-lining etc etc. Obviously, the more work you do yourself the cheaper it will be.

I had planned on doing the stripping and whatever else I can myself, keep the cost down a bit!

Also, go with someone by recomendation, cheap isn't always best.

Roughly �120 per day for painter and decorator, so do yourself a favour and get a fixed price off him/her first.

if its only paper hanging you need doing you could expect to pay between �15-�20 per roll or if you use the services of a larger decorating firm probably �25+ per roll.
