Noisy food

I don't think this has ever been posted before, but what do you think about CRISPS and APPLES being eaten in the workplace ? Isn't it enough that morons can't find the time to take a walk in the fresh air rather than sit gazing at a computer screen rustling paper and going CRUNCH, munch munch then gazing around the room ? When someone around me opens a bag of CRISPS - rustle rustle crunch munch munch - I sod off for 10 minutes and look at the horizon from upstairs.

IF YOU WANT TO EAT CRISPS KINDLY SOD OFF SOMEWHERE PRIVATE AND STOP ASSAULTING MY EARS WITH YOUR INFERNAL INFURIATING CRUNCH MUNCH.

I am jealous because you lot can eat in the work place. At my school we are not to have any food or drink at class desk. ( I can go along with this, though I do like water.) We have no access to a fridge or microwave in a common area. Only administration is allowed and in theory we can use theirs, but are constantly locked out of their offices and can not get our food. People hide them under their desks in their offices if they are lucky to have one. We may not eat in the staff room. This of course creates a lot of sneaking of food. The cafeteria is gross and two floors away. By the time I wade through the kids in the hall half of my 40 minute lunch pd is over. BTW, My lunch is at 10:36 am.

At least you can eat at work.

My dad even manages to chew jelly ! Of course his teeth go right through it with an infuriating snapping noise ! I can't stand it. Also people who eat boiled sweets so they rattle round their teeth ! Sometimes hubby rings me up when he is having a coffee and all I can hear is a loud gulping sound. I reckon it could be grounds for a divorce.
