true true , but its sad knobbs these poor animals with no homes at xmas - its a cruel world we live in , although battersea do a fantastic job

Yea I went there once red to get a dog for me kids when they were young and we saw this lovely labradour who seemed to pick us and immediatly fell in love with her.

We even gave her a name sandy as she had a sandy coulered coat.

we went to the office to say we wanted to take her home and we were gutted as somebody else had already gave her a home 5 minutes before us.
But we have a lovely 5 tear old golden retriever now and he is the best dog in the world.

We picked our staffy cross Max from Bolton rescue in 1999, he has been brilliant except he used to steal food out of the fridge, we sorted that out by getting a new kitchen with an integrated fridge, he can't find it now lol

Yes pets are for life not for Xmas . We have 2 cats from the Cat Protection , one is out all the time so often have a rat or mouse on the step , lovely when she eats the heads !! The other one is homely ,as was locked in a house with 20 others . They are such different moggies but now are really loved and spoilt .
