Make me an offer,
Oh how many times have Mr Boo and I had this conversation? LOL

I'd/we'd love a million- we reckon that's the mimimum it would take for us to buy a modest sized house with a couple of acres of land, a garage for him to tinker with old cars in all day and stables for me, a horse and a donkey (I adore donkeys). The remaining money, would sit in the bank, being used for bills as and when they came in.

Would I take it? You bet your bum I would- who in their right mind wouldn't?
I'll retire when a good woman comes along. Make me an offer too. lol
It will have to be a lot for me, As I am planning to retire abroad in the hot sunshine!!!
hi wee mate ♥☺

I suppose the more that you had the more you would spend.

Just now, I would settle for a lemsip and a hot toddy LOL!

I reckon that enough to pay off the mortgage and finance trips abroad would be enough, Call that a round million ;)

Hiya Steggy matey, hope you are well. Hxx

250,000 is probably more practical. Its still a hell of a lot of money.

I received my pension forecast recently and whilst it seems a lot of money just now, by the time I get it , its going to be worth peanuts!
Aye, because by that time Haysi, a loaf of bread will be 75 ;-)

still...gotta laugh aint ya!

Maybe not.

Hiya Boo!, Yes most things will be more expensive. My benefits etc will go to my niece if I die in service, (civil that is btw LOL) and she has a big glint in her eye.....if I meet an unusual death you know who to go to eeek!
Hi Hun -I think 250.000 would be a realistic figure -it is enough to make you comfortable (but not lazy)- not enough to change your life completely.I would take it and bite the hands off the person dishing it out to boot -lol

You not feeling well -heres a ((( ))) from moi x

BTW H -have you made out an 'expression' form for DIS -sorry to comment on that -just wanted to make sure you had xxx

Hundred grand. Enough to buy some land and build my own house out of mud and other bits and pieces. I could live quite comfortably off the garden and animals I'd keep.

Hiya Dris, thanks for the mwah! Dont get too close LOL. Am just getting over a wee cold, feeling sorry for myself especially since I had the bleeding day off anyway!

Not sure what you mean by expression form for DIS - let me know. I have nominated my niece to my pension provider etc.

Hxx

Skreechyboy, I remember when I was about 13 saying that if I won 100K I would build the house of my dreams, swimming pool, games room, stables, solarium, gym etc etc - 1 bedroom flats go for more than that nowadays eeek!
