Thyroid problems and spotting between periods

Has anyone experienced spotting between periods before they were diagnosed with hypothyroidism only for it to stop a few weeks after taking Levothyroxine? And has it made PMT symptoms worse?

you have to remember that before you started taking thyroxine all your body functions were going much slower than a normal person.

you may have been underactive/borderline for a few years before you got diagnosed, I havnt experienced anything out of the ordinary period wise, I cant see the link unless you have some other gynocological disorder like PCOS , its worth mentioning to your doctor on your next visit

Thanks I had mentioned it to doctor and have been to hospital am waiting for pipette biopsy results and although I had it 3 week ago it looks like it will be after christmas before I get my results (was told by hospital today that results are back but they are waiting for a review) so I just wanted my mind putting to rest so I can enjoy christmas.
