As far as I can tell from customers and friends, my firm appears to be the only idiots doing so!

...we are closing at 6pm xmas eve...2 hours earlier than we usually do, but they made us open at 7am instead of 8 to compensate......whoop de bleedin doo.... still we are closed 25th and 26th and then I'v booked 2 days hols....

We finish @ lunchtime on Friday and back on the 7th Jan - no fandy do's but we do get a mince pie and glass of wine on Friday - who needs a bonus!!

I work part time (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) so am not working Christmas eve, but that's only because it's a Monday when I wouldn't be working anyway - those that do work Mondays will be working. We're shut on Boxing Day, and I've got the 27th off (only because we're going to my sister-in-laws for Christmas and it's 200 miles away), but will be back in on the 28th.
