any great ideas for wedding favours? i want something original and sweet but of course, cheap. x

wedding favours ive seen included:

milky way star sweets for little children, jelly sweets for older children.

bath bombs (from lush) for the ladies

Miniature whiskey bottles for the Men

charity pins: pink breast cancer ribbons for ladies and blue testicular cancer pins for the men (about �1 each and money goes to a charity)

they were all still done in in little net bundles just as the traditional almonds would have been

Just for something different, we are giving everyone a lottery scratchcard.

My cousin had little clear glass tea light holders, with a pink candle in each (pink was one of the wedding colours!) and then every ones names painted on them in whatever it is you use to paint on glass!
They were gorgeous!

We gave everyone a packet of loveheart sweets for our wedding favours and they seemed to go down well (and weren't budget breaking!)

I bought some little silver boxes (cardboard) from e bay and filled them with silver heart chocolates and personalised Love Hearts and tied them with pale blue ribbon.

I piled then in a pyramid and they looked fab!!

What may I ask is a wedding favour?

Buy a really large prize something worth about �50 and give everyone a "Ticket" and at the end of the speeches have a little draw to see who has the winning number and has won a prize. I was at a wedding before and they had a first prize Dinner for two, second prize DVD player and third prize a bottle of bubbly, it was also a bit of fun and a laugh and it was better than listening to long boring speeches.
