That Asian lady that runs the post office - she actually had to say the line "my ankles are like over-ripe mangos". As if anyone, asian or otherwise, has ever said a line like that. The next line was about what kind of curry to have for dinner. Way to beat the stereotypes, guys!
Oh Dear God it is dull. All the simmering storylines being held in limbo. And all because the usual Christmas day revelation/shocker is running dry so they need to provide some storyline to advertise. All the characters are mundane, nobody really could care less whether Billy and co are homeless for Christmas, whether Max etc get caught out with one too many lustful Stacey stares when exiting a room, whether R&R is a success, whether that fcuking ITS FAMILY gets mentioned in every fcuking episiode by Phil or Peggy, whether Ronny or Roxy die in a fire (with any luck), whether Steven bumps off all the Beales in a mass shootout (ditto) or whether that very dull Indian contingent are the funny square factor (ha ha ha hee hee hee).
Personally I am more concerned and interested to know whether Pat is going to bring her interior dcor out of the 80s as that seems far more intriguing to my eyes than all the other drivel.

i try to watch it but its so.............. dire!
i love corrie and try not to miss it at all costs, mainly because corrie has got so many cheeky and uplifting characters....especially Blanche who has turned into my favourite.
but i tried to get into EE again recently until the episode with Jase and the "mobsters" smashing the pub up and Phil the shortest baldy in the south stating after that he "owned" Jase!!!!
now i watch about 5 minutes and its off again!!

Why does Billy worry so much about getting a job to support his wife and two kids?
There's plenty in the real world that have never had a job, and manage very well, thank you very much. Perhaps there are some out there that can give him a few pointers?
And how many times in this age has anyone seen a family thrown out into the street with their belonging on a hand cart?
