Chilli made with beef. So Chilli con pollo is made with chicken.

Sorry, I pressed the wrong key. It's Spanish:

Chilli = red chilli beans/chilli pepper

con = with

carne = meat

Same in Italian.

Which is why "Vegetarian Chilli Con Carne" makes me laugh.

IndieSinger, I agree - shouldn't a vegetarian version be Chilli Sin Carne, then?
