what is the likely cause of "Farting"

I have not changed my diet but in the last 4 days have not stopped farting , any ideas ?
is is getting embarrising

so many causes and so many results all leading to trhe same thing
I will just have to await a quiet time and then adjust the quantity , quality and substance of my food intake. then wait and see
