I had a lovely day wendilla , I hope your day was equally as special . Gina love , what a shame , could you swap it back at where he bought it perhaps? :-) xx
I am a very lucky Aprilis. My partner & our daughter spoiled me by giving me a fab and expensive Kipling leather handbag, a gold & pearl pendant, Richard Hammond's book and the Russell Brand book that I wanted with 100 scattered throughout the pages. I bought them a Nintendo Wii and lots of other little gifts. My mum also gave me a genuine cashmere and silk pashmina. I am over the moon with my gifts.
How about you wendilla, did you get what you hoped for?
yes he will change it for the real thing. i hope, i wouldnt have minded but every time we were in a shop that sold them i told him which one i wanted!!!
Yes thanks Aprilis you certainly did well .I had a thicker gold chain from my daughter as in october my 2 children bought me a hannes mccaw for my birthday and she broke my chain.Must say she is worse that a child the things she gets up to but is just starting to talk.Had lovely book on astronomy which I wished I had started to study years ago but it's never too late. Earrings and all the usual smellies and perfume.

I am so easy to please, just buy me a half decent bottle of whisky and I'm done, I did'nt even get that this year!
Plasma screen teles, 100s stashed in books? Cor blimey days!
I spend 100 on her 30 to 50 on me mum, the same for me nieces, 20 the rest could'nt be doing with that sort of caper.
Hi Montcrieff49 like th tv and Excelsior sorry to hear you were let down but xmas is not always about giving out expensive presents so I bet theres a few off your xmas list for next year. You didnt seem to be asking for expensive items.Cheer up at least you know who your friends are.
The only thing I wanted was a bean-bag cube so I can put my feet up. That sounds very dull but I have a lot of pain in my heels and elevating the feet is bliss. I got that so I am well pleased and I also had a DVD that I've wanted for ages.
