In a society where feminism appears to rule, movies like Spiderman, James Bond, Troy, and 300 never cease to surprise me. Take Spiderman for example. Where Mary-Jane, ALWAYS unable to help herself, is thrown into crisis after crisis and screams and screams until Spiderman comes and rescues this helpless specimen once again from her problems. And the new James Bond, the big strong man who always comes and rescues the helpless females- beauties with empty skulls- from all their problems. And the thing is, if you go to the cinema to watch these movies you can hardly get a seat for all the radical feminists there who have booked days in advance.

I've just watched Tomb Raider. Powerful woman, not a bit of gratuitous sex in sight (although plenty of flesh on show).
