So how was your xmas dinner?!

I have had 3 this year- one at a pub with my friend, one at a pub with mu parents, and one yesterday with my friends who I spend xmas with. For one reason or another, each meal was just not very nice! And I know I am sounding like a spoilt brat here!!! How was your xmas dinner and how could it have been improved?!

I was slightly disappointed with my roast potatoes. They just did not get crispy enough.
I had tried a new oil and it just did not do the job.
Never mind!!

I'd got everything in the freezer but I just didn't fancy a big meal yesterday. I started to take everything out of the freezer but then I asked myself why I was bothering to prepare a meal, just for myself, solely for the sake of tradition. So my Christmas meal was a Findus lasagne!

I'll still have Christmas dinner but it will probably be on New Year's Eve! Then, of course, I'll have to decide when to eat the haggis which I've bought for New Year's Eve ;-)

mine was yummy... we all (3of us ) went to my daughters and her partner for xmas dinner, all i did was make the gravy...no preparing cooking or washing up for the very 1st time for me.. : )
