Divorce
After a few years of legal procedings my wife & I signed a consent order giving her 2/3 & me 1/3 of the marital assets. The order also included items specifying the money was for 'her own home ' During the process she had provided several sworn statements saying that she did not intend to co-habit. I later found out that she bought a house with her new partner a month before she signed the consent order. I have taken legal and barristers advice on this but they say that I may end up with nothing as the legal bills may exceed the money I can reclaim, 25K. As I have already paid 22K in legal fees to my previous solicitor I am reticent to commit to any further costs. Apparently it will take two court hearings to overturn the consent order. She also fraudulently claimed legal aid.
