I heared that on telly that one in ten europeans is conceived in an IKEA bed. How much IKEA in your home?

Only one exceedingly large (and heavy) wooden chopping board - and there are going to be absolutely no conceptions occurring on that !

after the war , my mother used to tell me, G Plan started making utility furniture to quickly and cheaply replace stuff lost, but it was furniture that could last, not just for one Christmas either

I've got an Ikea cutlery set. Mr Boo won't have any of their furniture, he thinks it's tat :-(

and, up until last month, 1 nest of tables and a coffee table but we've bought grown up furniture now.

The bedroom's next to be replaced.

I'll just go and hide somewhere for a while. :o/

Loads. I love it. Wardrobes, chests of drawers, side tables. Dining table and chairs, living room units. Hall cupboard. All in matching maple. Soft furnishings, table mats, throws etc etc. Not disappointed with a thing.

Going to buy a kitchen from there as well soon.

You have me worried about the bed bit tho. My bed's not from there but my son has one...... I'll ring him now with your stat. I'm too young to be a granny!!

I havent got a thing, Ive never even been to Ikea! I have a friend who seems obsessed with it though and is always going there.

Hi Psychick - I have friends like that. I have been to IKEA 2-3 times & never bought anything but I do like the style just didnt like the quality. It did make me minimalise all the junk I had around though.
