At this stage I have installed the game, I'm just about to open the folder to play the game but this stands in my way, What does it mean?

Loaded that game on the laptop .Everything went ok played a few games next time I went back to play it the game would not load properly ..Something like what you said came up about needing a player which I though I had already downloaded .So as I was not happy will all this I just toook the cd out and reinstallled the whole thing .So now when I see your posting I am inteested .I have Vista on the lap top not sure if this is a factor .I also look forward to some other members having a better knowledge although it was apresent I would cheerfullly take it back to the out let it was obtained from.
The web site for the game is here:

http://www.focusmm.co.uk/shop/Dealornodeal-pr- 1295.html

It says (about the graphics requirement) as follows:

Extra Info: * NVidia GeForce FX or higher / ATI Radeon 9500 or higher. Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are not supported. Other integrated chipsets are not supported.

My guess is that the game requires a more powerful graphics card than you have.

Many low end PCs and laptops have what is called "integrated garphics" where the graphic capability is built into the motherboard (in other words the graphics capability is very basic).

My guess is that this is the case with your PC or laptop.

With as laptop there is nothing you can do about it (almost impossible to upgrade the graphics on a laptop), on a PC you can add a graphics card.
