Why don't they invent a newsprint that does not come off on your bottom. Does anyone remember the Daily Sketch precursor of The Sun? Dreadful newspaper, turned your bum completely grey. The Sun a SLIGHT improvement, but still takes a great deal of strong soap to return your bottom to it's original colour. I really think this is not good enough with the technological advances that have taken place in the interim. I have bought most of the daily papers for research and sadly not much to choose between any of them in this regard.

So, you're meant to read it? Always some catch in it isn't there. Either the perforations don't line up on the sheets, or they expect you to read it. I'm sure it wasn't like this in more primitive times.

How about Reader's Digest?  The print doesn't come off & the pages are just the right size, (no need for all that cutting & threading on string!)
