and am not a kid either! but my butt will be sore the morn! fell of more times than i was on!
thats the whole fun of it im no child either (im 28) but at least when it snows there is a reason for it to be cold!
As I have lived 100 percent of my English habitat in South England, I do not think I have enjoyed proper compact snow, capable of sledging down for about 25 years.

oh you wee soul!
Sledging is great fun but I'm more fond of ice skating. So sick of snow and cleaning it up for the past weeks.
<<<<<< sits in a sulky manner pretending not to be jealous!!!!!!!!
Oh ali thats brilliant ,i love that feeling makes you feel like a little kid, where are you living? up in scottyland? hope we get some snow soon I have my sledge in the garage waiting !! last time i went was about 5 years ago.
we have'nt had decent snow in years
Last went dry sledging in South Australia and Austria. It's great fun & you don't get cold or wet!
Uncle Raymondo, a little away from your neck of the woods, but did you ever sledge down Parliament Hill in Hampstead as a nipster?

Ah fond memories for me!!!!!!!
Hi wardy, yes parliament hill fields, remember them well, but no, never sledged down them, wrong side of town for me, that must have been great, what a place that is. we used to go to kensington gardens and around holland park area.
