Just watched the film "MONSTER",a very powerfull and gripping movie,well deserving of the awards.....i just wanted to know how much of this is based on truth?..is the girlfriend played by christina ricci still alive...what has happened to her?

Go to crime library. I don't know how to do those clicky things but if you do a google search it'll find it for you. It has loads of serial killer stuff and gives updates as they happen to each story. I'm not sure about the Aileen Wournos one as I haven't read it for ages but you will get alot of info on it there.

(Haven't seen the film yet - am getting it for bday next month!) The gf is still alive, there was a documentary on Channel 4 which had interviews with Aileen rght up until she died.

in the film monster the girl ricci played was her girlfriend but in the original film wasnt she just meant to be her best friend???
