Friend of ours was asked in Miami (airport) for ID. He was 53 with grey hair and beard! She refused to give him a beer if he couldn't prove he was over 21 for crying out loud!
But then that's America, we expect that kind of thing there:-)
Question Author
Hehe Tara - that is great!!
I went to the British Embassy here to renew my passport. After asking several questions the fellow at the entrance (high security!) asked me if I was a British citizen! Born and bred in the Glasgow area, ( with THAT accent, albeit somewhat cultivated for the sake of the unaccustomed ;-) ) I asked him if he was serious!!
