1960's D.I.Y. and Homemaker and Hobbies Magazines

I have come across some old 1960's D.I.Y. and Homemaker and Hobbies Magazines, some dating from the mid to late nineteen fiftees. Although I have looked through some of them, they arn't really any use to me.
It seems a shame to throw them out as they are all in good condition and illustrate the styles and fashions of the day. Id be happy to give them away but Im stumped as to what to do with them. Any ideas or suggestions?

If they are in good condition, you might get a few bob for them at a used book/magzine store.

I don't know if your local library could use them; they keep old newspapers and stuff. Somebody probably collects them somewhere though, so the other two suggestions may be better.

In our neck of the woods there's a site called "Crewe & Nantwich Freecycle" (hosted by 'Yahoo') where you can advertise whatever you like, as long as it's free.

Might be worth your while to look for something similar in your area.

Thankyou everyone for your suggestions. I have tried Ebay, thinking I could make a few bob, but no luck there. I tried our local Freecycle here in Nottingham only to be strung along by a timewaster. Dont really know if there is anyone out there who would be interested. Perhaps I should throw them out after all.

If you take them to a charity shop, they can resume their karmic journey and your conscience is clear.
