escort window 1998

i have a 1998 ford escort and the passenger window doesnt work right it seems to go up one sidethen just go completely all over the place??????????

It sounds like it has come off of its runners - you need to removed the door trim and check that the window is properly in place

Take it down to a windscreen fitting centre if you are not sure how to do this , as previously said it has come off one of its runners and is a straightforward fix, flip out the centre of the winder if its manual windows, remove the screw, flip off the plastic handle cover, remove the three? screws from there remove the little grey screws from the bottom and sides of the panel , then lift it up and off the door, check the glass is within its felt runners (the black thing that the glass slides in) pop in the popper bit like a ball joint and back on the rail , lube the runners both felt and metal runners and check and rebuild.... this is from memory , like i say its an easy fix, if you strip it the windscreen fitter will take 2 mins to do this , just give them a drink ....
