I do know what you mean.

I wore an outfit on Saturday and looked in the mirror and thought that I looked huge (Im a size 18/20) but when I asked my fiances opinion, he said it was very slimming and said that he was being totally honest.
Even my doctor on my last visit didnt believe I weighed as much as I did!

Am I seeing my correct size or do I look slimmer than I think?
