Hey Leggy,

Caught about twenty mins of it. Bit scary. Trying to decide if it is actually wose than when I was younger.

Although my parents told me the same as any other child - not to speak to strangers etc - I used to hitch quite a lot which I guess is a similar thing?

The thought of that woman saying she was a 14 year old and all the guys who wanted to meet her was a bit sickening.Plus the survey telling you a quarter of kids lie about it to parents and dont know a lot of their online friends is alarming.
The really scarey bit was the3 phoney profiles that they set up of a 14yr old girl...the response she got made my skin crawl

Dunno monty but the one guy from brighton they caught was very dodgey indeed.
What about the young lad playing with himself on webcam in exchange for a video game!!!

:o(
Yeah mate,

But.................

I've met loads of people I don't know through the CB which is the same thing, although you can hear their voices.

Unfortunately for every generation there will be something new and the older generation will wonder what the hell will be next.

the best we can do is hope that we have instilled enough sense in our offspring to do the right thing. You can't insure against being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

the best advice was from the paedophile guy.
never let a kid have pc in their room.if he sees livingroom or family type room on webcam he leaves those kids alone.
so thats the best advice get the pc in the lounge and supervise without needing to constantly check.
Or how about no webcam?
Question Author
banjo most new laptops got webcams in them and most kids apparently have webcams if the progs to be believed .i think.
Fortunately my daughter hasn't. Not that I am in a position - other than talking - to police my daughter's time on the internet.

Can't say that I can particularly trust her father to do it either.

Ah well.
