I have seen the answerbank translated into German for a German site and our questions also appear on other sites with our usernames still intact.

No, its not like a german version of this, some site has poorly translated the questions and one of my answers if you translated it back into english would read "putrified small monkeys" Not something I have ever said on here, until now.
It would be covered by their terms of use ,even if they did allow it. They could turn your words on here into a book and you would have no rights over it.
