Jeff Stewart who plays Reg Hollis in the Bill, tried to commit suicide by slashing his wrists after being told he was being axed from the show!!

This is sad as he was the only original member of cast left!
I liked him, a littl eccentric, but a good actor.

Yes I saw this on the news today. I actually don't watch soaps any more but I used to years ago and I was amazed to see how much poor old Reg had aged. I suppose it must be his life really and to be axed must be very sad. Bit like working for a company for years and then being told you're not wanted, out you go!. He must be having a breakdown at the moment and needs some help rather than the sack.

Before I heard the news I could have sworn that Tony Stamp was an original. I guess not.

I must admit though, I rarely watch the show.

Booster Girl I recall some scandal aswell. Calls girls and cocaine spring to mind, but I may be wrong.
