How to install a no cd crack

I have just downloaded a game that I cannot get in any shops at all, I burnt it onto a disk and installed it, when i went to play it it told me 'wrong disk' I have a no cd crack for this game can someone please give me easy instructions on how to install this file

it is simple when you know how.
right click 'start' and then 'explore'.
from the list on the left select 'program files'. within that list you will find your game.sometimes listed as the game name, sometimes listed under the publishers name eg EA or Sony.
Double click that folder and in there you should see an icon the same as your no cd crack. your no cd crack needs to be copied into that folder. you will know if you have done it right as it will tell you that the file already exists and ask if you want to overwrite.to be safe i would recommend right clicking and copying that existing icon to a safe location as if the no cd doesnt work you can then simply put back the original file.

this game that i have is an expansion pack, will i need the no cd crack for the first game before i install the expansion pack?
