What does Immediate Access Store mean do please help.

This is the solid state memory in your PC. Usually referred to as Random Access Memory (RAM) it is much faster than mechanical stores like magnetic disk or CD ROM. Typical sizes these days are from 32 Mb to 256 Mb where a Mb is 104856 bytes and a byte is 8 binary bits. One byt is sufficient to define one decimal digit or one alphabetic letter.
