Tax relief on what? I looked into claiming Income Tax relief when I used to run to Austria, but worked out I wasn't out of the UK long enough (only Sat - Weds!). If I remember correctly, you had to be out of the country for about 6 out of 7 days per week and not come back for holidays, but this was 10 years ago, so the rules might have changed.
