out of date ink cartridges

Hi there, I have 3 out of date ink cartridges but they are still in box and in vacuum packaging, are they still ok ?

I see no reason why you should not try them and see for yourself.

I have previously used cartridges up to 5 years past expiration with no noticeable difference in print quality.

Hold them in the orientation needed when fitting into the printer and give a few controlled taps on a a surface(mouse mat ?) This will help to ensure ink is in the right area and to dislodge any trapped air in the cartridge - in case they have been stored on their side etc.
