I did once years ago. One night a woman and her son knocked on my door asking if i knew where a certain person lived they had tried the address they had been given but hadn't got an answer. It was a horrible cold wet night and they both looked frozen and tired. I asked them if they wanted to come in and get warm and wait for a bit before trying again. She seemed very grateful, the wee one curled up on the sofa and slept for a bit. They looked as if they had been trawling the streets for hours.

What a great Q -I would absolutelty give succour to ANYONE in need.

We have Poles coming round selling pictures -I bought one off the the first ones but now I just explain and give each one a bag of like pasta juice veg biscuits milk crisps -just what I would hope someone would give to mine

I also took one of J's pals into care (my care) at the request of the Social Work,She was a diamond -no-one came to check on me and I wasnt paid anything to keep her but I did -she was fab and she she stayed with us for a while.

I didnt find that difficult and neither did H -we just hope we gave her some stability -she now is settled and has a wee boy.Bless her.

I would do ANYTHING for anybody cos I see good in everyone.

I will do anything that's legal and moral to help anyone; but, I also listen to my gut instincts before making decisions.

Many years ago one very cold and snowy winter night around 11 pm a young lady knocked on my door. She came from Canada to look for a boyfriend. She didn't know where she was going neither was the boyfriend expecting her .... she ended up staying by me for two weeks before she caught up with this boyfriend. Of course everyone thought I was crazy to take in this stranger, and leave in my home alone when I went to work.
passa forare!! (this maybe f*** off in ibicenco, am not sure)
