Right of Way

I live in a very old cottage that has a right of way across my back path for a cottage that is behind my house - I think the right of way was set up years and years ago so the owner could have access to the local well across the road in front of my house - nowdays the owner crosses it just to put their bins out which isn't really a problem but I wondered how easy it was to contest a right of way - especially as they no longer need to go to the well as they have indoor taps !!!

This is going to be a long, drawn out, expensive battle.

I would advise you not to bother, particularly as you say it "isn't really a problem".
