i was listening to gary pucket and the union gap "young girl" the other day, and thought to myself you wouldn't get those lyrics nowadays!

That is a very good song beds, it;s always on Radio 2 but I have never actually thought about the lyrics before. I always thought she was just too young to committ to a serious relationship but all the talk of running home to mother, gives it a bit of a pervy feel.

Don't know where you are coming from with Young Girl. The man obviously believed he was seeing a grown adult woman, and wasn't attracted to her because she was a child.

A dilemma many young men face, I'm sure.

Young Girl -now that has me wondering because as usual you are so used to a song that you dont actually listen to the lyrics -I would go along with the fact that he had fallen for someone and then discovered her real age and backed off -so no paedo there.
