I much to my shame have heard this song on countless occasions and have never listed to the lyrics.

Wow - very sad but what Georgie said at the end was very poignant ,humblingand very true.Fantastic song and the guitar at the beginning was sensational IMO.

I know I know its just a song but its happened to lots of people
I have never heard this song before. Very good.

I should get in to Rod's earlier stuff!!!

Hi BB. I know you like Bowie, but I just love Rods stuff.
Question Author
I know that one Spocky.

Bad video though. Half way through it's like the Kids from Fame!!! All that dancing in the street and wotnot.

Rod's voice actually gets less gravelly as he gets older it sounds.
Question Author
I shall return the compliment and avail myself of some Bowie material.
Hi Doc,i like In a broken dream when he was Python Lee Jackson.
Question Author
Hi Hau, funny you should say that, he wasn't Python lee jackson.

Rod was in a recoding studio in Australia years ago, in the next room was a group called Python etc. They were making a hash of " in a broken dream".

Rod said, it is like this fellas. He sang it they recorded it and it went out with his voice. His name does not appear on the credits as he was just having a bit of a laugh.

Very interesting though
