Night all! NYC is bracing for snow 5-8 inches by noon tomorrow. Please join me in prayers for NO SCHOOL!! Fat chance of that, since or public schools almost never close due to losing gov't funding for the day.

Hopefully I will awaken to the radio announcing scholl is closed. LOL

Hi English Teacher! Just a quick one to say how lucky you are if you DO get piles of snow! Getting time off work aside, I love to see it, but all we've had where I live, is a pathetic smattering.
radio announcing scholl is closed. Don't scholl make shoes?

My mother used to say that any weather in New York was a sign of what was to come in our part of Scotland. Your snow is a sign for me to panic buy food and stock up the freezer.

Hope you get snowed in tomorrow.
Oh LOL Wolf - and you're pointing that out to a teacher as well. May the freezing heavens descend upon us!
I used to love days when we woke up to snow, sitting on my mums bed waiting for the announcements of school closures to come in.

Sadly, as my school was mainly boarding (I was a day pupil) it usually only got closed if the snowfall was there on a monday morning when the boarders were due to travel in.

I hope you got your day off EngTeach

Imagine my dismay when waking up to find NOTHING on the ground! 2 days of hype and warning and then no snow. I think I will be a weather person where one can be wrong about 90% of the time and still make oodles of money on TV.

Hope your day is going well. I'm off to school. BOOOOO!
