Yahoo Email Account

Hi, I have a yahoo email which I hadn't used for a while.
Am deserately trying to get back onto it. I know my username and password but still can't get on. Thought I would try changing my password just in case I was remembering it wrong but I made my security question too cryptic all those years back that I can't remember the answer!!!!! Has anyone any ideas...or is it gone for good?

Try working through the 'sign in problems' pages. This link is to a secure web page, so it won't 'hotlink'. You'll need to copy the link and paste it into your browser's address bar:

(PS: Just a thought - Remember that usernames and passwords are case sensitive. e.g. 'Josiejose' and 'josiejose' are different usernames. Perhaps you're using a capital letter when you shouldn't, or vice versa?)

If you did not sign in to yahoo for at least three month, then the account is temporarily closed. If you know your ID and password try logging on again and follow the instructions. You will be given two options - one to pay for yahoo services and the other will allow you to log in, but you will lose all you stored files and inbox mails. I've had this happen to me several times. I never took the payed option, but now I try to log in at least once in two or three months.
