Hi all.
I was, until recently the subject of an IVA. Whilst under this agreement I was unable to open another bank account. Is there any way I can now open an account even though the IVA failed, as I am now in a position with a new job, to put money aside and deal with my creditors direct.
Thanks

Hi, I have just been through a bit of financial difficulty myself. I was also unable to open an account but did not do an IVA. I found however that i was able to open a basic bank accoutn at Halifax and Lloyd. They (like all banks) will try and get you to open a current account, so just pop in and ask for the info pack. You need to send it off and that's it really.

Good luck.
