My AVG scanner keeps finding a TROJAN HORSE CLICKER KDZ. virus in my PC in RESTORE/TEMP folder and then says it has healed it but needs to restart to complete the process. On the next scan it is there again and the same thing happens. I can't find the file manually to delete it, any ideas, I'm still running windowsME?

Open your pc in safe mode and do the scan again.

If you have the opportunity to, delete rather than quarantine.

If Ethel's sugestion doesn't work, you may want to try the NOD32 30 day free trial (No cost at all, only have to give an email address). Probally the best virus scanner on the market today. http://www.eset.com/download/free_trial_downlo ad_int.php

You will need to download: ESET NOD32 3.0 Antivirus for Win XP/2000/Vista (32-bit) for windows ME.

Thanks, I got rid of it by turning off system restore then restarting, I suppose it didn't get backed up by sys. restore so disappeared?
Your problem was that this virus was in your system restore points, therefore when it was deleted/or put in quaranteen the next time you rebooted it was detected again. By turning off restore you have flushed all your restore points & any nastys with it.
