There was a book in the 1980's which was a treasure hunt that allowed you to be the first person to find a jeweled rabbit under a tree somewherein England. Does anyone know if it was ever found and if so by whom and how quickly?

Masquerade - The jeweled rabbit was dug up near Ampthill be a man quite closely related to the witness who watched it being buried.................
The book Masquerade is by Kit Williams and is beautifully illustrated with a treasure hunt to find a bejewelled hare.
I used to love that book! Not that I had a flippin' clue where the treasure was...
Williams's ex leaked the whereabouts
