Does anybody make their own yogurt using this kit? What is the quality like and does it work out more economical than shop bought yogurt? I always thought yogurt had to be made with milk but their catalogue says "Just add boiling water to the sachet" so presumably the contents of this include milk powder?

Yep, you have to keep buying the ingredients from Lakeland. It's reckoned to be OKish stuff, but it certainly isn't cheaper than fresh yogurt.
Other shops sell the easiyo mixes. My local hardware shop sells the packets. The yohurt is nice tasting, only takes a day to make too.
We bought a similar kit from Ideal World. very tasty and easy to make. you can also get packs in health stores.
