I bought some Marsala wine for a recipe and having only used a tiny bit need to know what to do with the bottle. Presumably I needn't refrigerate? Is it just like sherry? How long will it keep?
Thanks

I have used Marsala wine in recipes and kept the rest for several months..and used again with no ill effects.

I have kept Marsala for ages before now. Used it in zabaglione and with veal etc. Kept it in the cabinet with the sherry etc.
Seems to be a feeling that its ok to keep sherry for ages once its been opened - the lighter the style of sherry, the less time it will keep, in the case of fino only a few days or a week at most - if you're cooking with it, then probably not a problem, but not great for drinking.
