Have just bought my wife a brand new Fiesta. Is she likely to have any problems? Her Clio must have been a Friday afternoon car judging by the number of faults.

the new fiesta models are pretty good, and very reliable and good little runners for your wife, you shouldn't get any faults with it, if you keep it serviced regular you should have no problems
I've just done the opposite - went from a Fiesta to a Clio. If my Clio serves me as well as my Fiesta did then I'll be happy!
The zetec is a lovely engine, Look after it, and service every 9000 miles or at least once a year and you will have a car that will do 200k miles.

My wife's just traded in one with 145,000 miles, and got top whack at the dealership - he reckons they'll last forever.

Thank you all for your re-assurance. I thought I had made a wise choice this time. I understand Ford spares are cheaper than most but time will tell!
