Flats and half inch heels for me!!!
I cannot walk elegantly in them, I start out ok and then up walking like Dick Emery!! Lol.

It's largely about footing (heel then toe) and to the individuals particular heel tolerence. I have some very high heels which although narrow at the end are very solid under the heel which helps with balance and co-ordination. I have a couple of pairs that are purely for posing in and for nights when I am being delivered to and from the door of whre I'm going and expect to be sitting for the majority of the evening.

Some of them do give me sore feet but I think I've built up a tolerance to them as I've got older - the more i wear them, the more I get used to them!
