I want to have long hair how can i help my hair to grow and avoid split ends from appearing

use plenty of conditioner after you've had the ends cut out.

You have to rememebr that evrybody has a maximum length their hair will grow to and that it varies from person toperson. My hairs max length is about to my waist. Certainly use lots of conditioner and maybe a treatment, Fudge Dynamite is good, once a week. I avoid brushing my hair when it is wet, I don't use combs and i NEVER pull on tangles. i very rarely use any sort of heat styling products (inc hairdryer) I also use a leave in conditioner which is a Split Ends "repairer": Tigi Bedhead one in a pink bottle, green top.

I work in toni and guy and am currently studying hair, once your hair is damaged you cannot repair it and usualy spilt ends are har to stop but heat id a major cause of them, dont use to much conditioner near your parting as conditioner is made for roots of hair (ends)
