T-Junction Collision on main road
3 Answers
i was turning out of a T-Junction on to a main road. Someone had let me go from either side and as i edged forward to check the far side of my left, a car hit me on the front side and knocked my wheel arch. there is only one lane, so effectively he was overtaking the stationary car. he said it was my fault as i'd driven in to him, but i'm sure from the damage on my car it is clear that he drove into me.
for insurance claims, who is in the right or wrong?

But vehicles are not supposed to overtake at a junction (which is what the other car was doing). If there's any justice and common sense in the world then he will be found liable.
