i've just washed my daughters jacket to find her mobile was in the pocket, have taken the battery and sim card out, will it dry out ok or is that ready for the bin?dont she will be too happy
I did similar (dropped it down the loo!!) and I am afraid it never worked again. However I was able to put the sim card into a new phone and managed to retrieve most of my numbers - good luck!!
And if she moans too much just say you wont do any more of her washing!!
A batty woman I know successfully salvaged her phone after washing it in the machine. Likewise her cat. In both cases she was alerted to something banging on spin!!!!!
It took my Nokia 4 days to dry out after dropping it in the loo. Took it apart as much as poss, & put it somewhere dry & warm. That was 31/2 yrs ago & it still works fine.
I sure did. I dropped my phone in the Church Graveyard, found it three days later; it had been in the frost, rain and severe cold. Charged it for twenty-four hours and it has been working ever since.
However, severe cold reduces the life expectancy of any battery pack, so I am expecting to have to replace it sooner than normally would be expected.
Thanks for all your answers everyone, had it in the airing cupboard all day, my son got the same phone motorola rasor, tried his battery with no success, will check it tommorro, well all can say have learnt my lesson to check pockets next time, at least the sim card is ok lol
