I'm in a new property and need to send my electricity meter readings via Scottish Power website but I'm confused! I have economy 7, so have two meter readings - one for day and one for night.

My digital meter display has one reading showing, and when I press the button another shows - but I don't know which is day and which is night.

One has no symbol next to it - the other has a letter 'R'. But on the web advice pages I can no reference to these kind of readings.

Does anyone know if the one with 'R' is night or day?

TIA

Cheers cleversod (God, using your username sounds like I'm insulting you!)

Will email them pronto...
On my meter there flashes up a reading with 4 digits the 8888 then another reading. I read my meter once a week and keep a list to see I am not diddled. You will find the higher numbers are your daytime read. Hope this is any good to you.

Thanks everyone - have e-mailed Scottish Power and waiting for response. I suspect the higher reading is the daytime one, but with having Economy 7 and heating my heaters and water at night, I'm not sure...
