After a previous answer i let my PC cool down and it decided to operate correctly, from about 23deg C to 39 deg C no problems. over that crashing for fun. any views? both fans are working apparantly ok Mike
prev can I access works internal internet from home?

AS I said before, reseat all your hardware, this sounds like either loose RAM, processor or video card to me.
