can someone quickly tell me what happens at the end of this film please

Hello, as Bewlay Bros states, in the legend the witch murdered some kids in the house in the woods. The witch made the kids face the wall before they were killed and in the end of the movie, the female of the two survivors sees the other one facing the wall in the closing scenes, just before she is killed herself.
For me it was a horrible shocking ending but I did not understand it at first until my friends and I pieced together the story and understood what the final moments of the movie meant.
